- You want to make platform and dashboard decisions based on evidence.
- You need evidence alongside commercial growth.
The missing link.
There is plenty of guidance on the importance of EdTech evidence and impact. Far less shows how founders actually continue to build and develop evidence-led platforms with and for teachers and school leaders. These are Field Notes from founders on the journey, from MVP to proven impact.

Questions you might be asking yourself...
Is this really free?
Yes! The field notes are totally free and, like all free resources I share, will be shared under a Creative Commons license.
When does it launch?
August/September 2026: Waitlist members get the first look and exclusive early insights.
What will I actually get?
You'll receive a web-based guide and mini-library of case studies of how founders have designed their platforms and dashboards with schools and build evidence.
Who is behind it?
Rebekah Fant-Male of Laine Education, who helps education founders stand out and build trust with school professionals.
How did you choose founders to participate?
Just over half self-selected in response to a call I put out on LinkedIn.
I also reached out directly to founders I knew would be strong examples, to balance perspectives across early and later-stage startups, data dashboards and learning platforms, and research-grounded or user co-designed development. If you would like to share your own perspective or evidence journey in a future update, or via the EdTech Trust Builders Substack, get in touch.
Have the founders paid for placement?
No, there is no paid placement, sponsorship or sponsored content, just real founders sharing what they've learned.
Will you email me other things?
You'll receive a few updates before the early launch of Built with Schools: EdTech Founder Field Notes, plus no more than two emails a month on building and positioning for impact (delivered via Substack). I make sure it's super easy to unsubscribe, anytime.
